About Weddings at the Hall at Castle Inn

The Victorian architecture of the Hall, with its large windows, grand entrance ways, and high ceilings, you will feel like royalty as did previous generations of guests who dined and socialized for their getaways from daily city life.  When stepping into the Hall, you immediately pass over a threshold that that transcends back to this time. 

Located on the Appalachian Trail, the sunlight of over mountains envelops the Hall with bright natural light during the day.  Then, nightfall brings a dramatic transition consisting of a black velvet backdrop for the windows which enhances the twinkling and glowing effect of soft lighting bouncing off candelabras, mirrors, and fixtures.

When your wedding is at the Hall at Castle Inn, it is the only event!  We pride ourselves on focusing on only you during your special day.

 

The Hall (Spaces)

The Hall consists of two levels, the Concourse on the first floor, and the Grande Ballroom on the second floor.  The Concourse is ideal for your cocktail hour, with stationary bar, and versatile arrangements to allow your guests to easily mingle.  During the warmer months, the French Doors can be opened up to the wrap around patio, giving your guests extra space.   The Grande Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests, and provides versatile space to arrange your floor plan for dining, dancing, and buffet space.  The large windows of both the Concourse and the Grande Ballroom provide a beautiful backdrop all year round, whether it be fall foliage, bright spring colors, lush greens of summer, or white winter wonderland.

Wedding Ceremony

The Hall offers three ceremony locations.  The Concourse level is ideal for smaller ceremonies of 100 or less.  The Grande Ballroom can accommodate larger ceremonies of up to 200 guests.  Outdoor on the lawn can accommodate ceremonies of various sizes, with the Hall as the backdrop, or the background of the Appalachian Mountains.

 Beverage Packages

The Hall at the Castle Inn allows you to customize your own beverage package.  This is done through providing your own alcoholic beverages, sodas, mixers and garnishes.  However, all alcoholic beverages must be served through a bartender(s).  All PA state laws regarding alcohol will be followed.  The rate for a bartender is additional to the package, and averages around $2.50 per person, which would include 2-3 bartenders depending on the number of guests. 

Bring Your Own Caterer Packages

Do you have a caterer that you would prefer to prepare the food for your wedding?  The Hall at the Castle Inn allows you the flexibility to do so.  (Caterer must be licensed and insured.  Certificate of insurance is required before event date). 

Less than 100 guests - $50.00/Person

Between 100 – 150 guests - $42.00/Person

Between 151 – 200 guests - $34.00/Person
